$ well spent!
Nice unit! Easy to put together which was helpful. It can be stained if one wants to. Since we collect wine it suits our needs. Using in a cedar lined room cool and dark. Great purchase for the $

"Snap together" construction, very stable, at good price
Compared to the standard wine rack, that requires juggling Allen keys, metal rods and parts that don't often align with a non rigid structure (while in assembly mode), this rack snaps together with a level of Lego like precision and speed. Just a smack of the mallet for some of the tighter Lincoln log style joints. Its basic pine (but fairly knot free), so not going to win awards for elegance - but top notch for my basement wine storage. Someday I may add a spot of stain/dye to dress up - but have a lot more pressing projects on the list right now. Only down side are that the semi circular "holes" for the bottles are standardized on the classic cab/merlot/claret bottle. Works for most Pinots/Chards style too, unless the bottle is extra thick - but for most sparkling wines, I need to balance these at an angle somewhat precariously on the top shelf. When I've time will custom cut a couple of Home Depot 2x4s to match, with slightly wider holes. (Or just drink my bubbly faster). in assembly, one of the risers cracked slightly (I could have been rushing assembly but more likely seasonal wood movement made for an over tight fit.) I just injected a bit of hot glue and used it at the top level where it would have less load. No drama. Perfect for my needs, would rather spend more on wine than on racking. Cheers!

Great little rack
So far works great. Solid rack at a solid price. Easy to assemble and looks nice.

Great quality, great value
Excellent value. Solid wood, precision cuts for the notches, sturdy, elegant. Some reviewers thought it was wobbly; the fit of the interlacing notches is quite tight, and I used a mallet to bang the pieces into place. No wobble. Best wine rack Iโve ever owned. Fits comfortably into the back of a closet, which is cool, dark, and an ideal place to store wines.

Think Lincoln Logs
I purchased three of these racks with the intention of stacking them. They are not really meant to be stacked, and in order to do that, I had to cut notches in the upper sides of the two top rails. I used a lower rail for the pattern and cut the notches with a table saw. I could also have used a drill (for the corners) and a jig saw, but the other happened to be handy. There was a tight fit on one of the rails and the notched end broke off at a glue joint. No problem. I just glued it back to together with wood glue and let it set in C-clamps overnight. Three of these units stacked does add a little bit of wobble. However, since I was installing these in a spare bedroom closet, I was able to secure the entire unit with "L" brackets to the the 1 x 4 already there meant to accommodate a shelf. It also helps that the heaviest part of the bottles are on the wall side, so the whole thing naturally leans back. I secured it because we live in an earthquake zone, so that's just a good idea anyway. When assembling this unit, think Lincoln Logs. If you played with them as a kid, this unit is a cinch to put together. (And yes, occasionally I had to glue a Lincoln Log back together.) I would recommend using a rubber mallet for assembly. Despite the one minor repair, I gave these units 5 stars, because of my own deviations (namely stacking) from it's original intent. I expected extra work. Still these went up very easily and quickly and my sweetie is so happy to see his 200+ bottles of wine organized and displayed so neatly, he goes back there just to look at them several times a day. A very happy birthday for him!

My only regret.....
My only regret is that I didn't buy this sooner! Love this stackable, easy to assemble wine rack. I'm not a handy girl but even I was able to assemble it without issues. It comes unstained so you will have to stain it whatever color you choose. I love that I was able to match the wood of my home. With the generous amount of 96 this fits a nice collection. Bigger bottles I would recommend to place on the top row because it will not fit in the slots. This is a space saver because it doesn't take up much space. Also, I was able to organize of all my wines in one central place. Love it! One of my favorite purchases of the year

Very good, inexpensive, wine storage option!
Storage capacity: Perfect for our wine collection. You can stack a lot of wine in these racks. I stack them 5 high on wooden planks I built in our wine cellar. They can stack higher if you want but please consider the weight of the wine when fully racked. Build quality: Solid wood design and fit. These are easy to put together and stack. Bottle Slide: Note that there are some wine bottles out there that might be a bit oversized. They will fit however, the fit will be tight. Try not to tear the wine labels! ;-) Overall functionality: Great. These were exactly what we needed for our collection!

Okay product, but design flaw
Nice simple aesthetics, can be assembled readily, good value. The instructions are poor in that they state you should be sure to get the various pieces to โclickโ into place. Guys, these are wood notches into the wood notches of another piece of wood. No clicking involved, and the moisture level of the wood can affect your fit. Also, there is what I would call a design flaw, in the the bottom side pieces each have only two points of attachment to the horizontal racks above them. I might get a couple of small brackets. Otherwise, a slight jostle, say with a vacuum cleaner, and the whole thing with its 200kg of wine bottles might come crashing down.
