Beautiful beautiful colors and pigments, I’d definitely get this if I needed a starter set or if you love mixing your own colors.

I love m. graham watercolors. They're beautifully vibrant, easily rewet, and look wonderful after they've dried. I've picked up 3 sets from m.graham now and they have all been beautiful. I really like this set because it's a little bit of a twist on the traditional set of basics. The colors are really beautiful and they make gorgeous secondaries. Personally, I'm never all that excited about basic colors, but I was really impressed with the way these colors mixed and the tones I was able to achieve. I like to do watercolor lettering, and these worked really well for that (just make sure you have enough water mixed in). Overall, I think anyone would love these paints. As mentioned by the brand (and probably previous reviewers), the paints are moist and never fully harden to a non-transferable state, which can make it difficult to travel with them. That being said, I did travel with them recently and experienced very little transfer. I put a piece of watercolor paper between the paints and the palette cover and it picked up any of the transfer. I find that it's easy to travel with if you make sure to put them in your bag in such a way that they don't move around a lot and sit upright. Again, beautiful paints. You won't be disappointed!

Love the vibrancy of these watercolors and how they behave on techniques like wet on wet. This is a good set to start with higher/professional quality watercolors! The colors leans more on the warmer side. Worth every penny and planning to buy more of these sets. Sorry for the poor lighting, but I promise these babies are vibrant! I also did some mixes for secondary colors so you can see what you can get with these beauties! :)

Highly pigmented and that's something to take into consideration when mixing colors or laying your layers. A little red goes a long way in mixing.
