Commemorating the 75th anniversary of the director's birth, 6 director's works are restored with a 2K scan. The masterpiece of animated writer Yuri Norstein has won awards at world film festivals, and has been vividly revived in 2K restoration from the original negative. From the theatrical 2K restoration version, the color tone has been readjusted to the disc by director Norstein. In order to achieve the highest possible image quality, Blu-ray uses the large capacity of 2K restored digital data (= consecutively numbered files), and also MGVC (*2). The voice has also been carefully repaired and recorded with linear PCM at 96 kHz/24 bit high resolution. A beloved version with bonus video and bonus enclosure. Video Bonus: Includes interview and lecture patterns from last autumn and next day (approx. 20 minutes). Includes bonus 32 page booklet = full of artwork description and beautiful photos by director! About the Master: The 6 pieces recorded here are first in Russia's largest movie storage and repair archive, 2K scans from the original negatives in gothfilmofond, bringing the data to IMAGICA, Japan to repair scratches and dirt, grading (color adjustment), and producing DCP (Digital Cinema Package). Although it was approved by the director Norstein during this stage, it was supervised with a desire to explore the color of Blu-ray & DVD and then graded. The voice is digitized from Omaichi magnetic tape in the above gothfilmofond, and is mastered by Japanese acoustic engineer Ono Seigen, which eliminates noise. Composition: 6 pieces in total.
