Comfortable and supportive
I've been using Brooks Ravenna for several years now, and I find them a great shoe, light, springy and feel fast. But recently after suffering from several small injuries I found my toes (mainly 2nd) take a hammering during longer runs to the point where they are swollen and bruised. I think this is a result of over pronation. I can't even remember when I last had normal toe nails on these toes.Anyway I thought I'd try the new GTS 19, which has slightly more support and what a difference.. I've done 2 runs now, one short (7k) and one longer (15k) and I've certainly felt a difference. Firstly this shoe is so comfortable, there is a lot of protection from the hard surface (something I like).Secondly it feels like there is less pressure on my toes during and after running. The shoe feels fast, or fast enough for me. So far so good. I've tried the GTS before (15 I think) and didn't get on with it, but this is a massive improvement. I went 1/2 a size up on my normal shoe size and the fit is perfect. So, if you are looking for a comfortable supportive shoe give this a go.

Best Adrenaline GTS in 10 years?
I'm sad to say that I'm genuinely very excited about this shoe. The 2019 GTS has had a major redesign of the shoe uppers. And with that I am pleased to say that the stitched toe cap has been removed. For me these nearly always are the first thing to break. The front part of the shoe upper is now one continuous piece of fabric, which I'm hoping will be much harder wearing. I've just finished running this shoe in and the fit and feel is the same as previous generations, if not better. So I am very happy with my purchase and optimistic about how this shoe is going to work out in the long term [UPDATE: 100+ miles, no issues or loss of comfort]. And that's the review, but if you want to find out why I feel so positive then read the epic follow on below.I've been buying adrenaline GTS shoes every year for over 10 years. I run the same distance every week, same pace, same surface. I try to get a year out of them (which puts them on about 1000 miles). My typical GTS experience is that I buy them, after 8-9 months the toe cap starts coming unstitched, and by a year they are dangerous to run in (as my big toe is usually poking out the end). The exception to this is the GTS 11 and GTS 12 which lasted 14 months+ (I still have the 2012 model as my backup pair of running shoes). From 2012 the GTSs (while outwardly seeming virtually identical to previous versions) steadily deterioriated in quality until the GTS 17, which were absolutely awful. I had two 2017 pairs - the sole of the first came unglued in 3 months and the same happened to the second pair plus the toecap came unstitched within 6 months. But the GTS 18 - that was a fine shoe. Mine lasted well over a year (until the achilles padding wore out a couple of weeks back - which I think is one of the honorable ends for a running shoe). In my opinion the GTS 18 was the best shoe they've produced since the GTS 12. But the GTS 19 looks like it could be even better. If you squint you'd be hard pushed to tell the difference between the 12 and the 18. But the 19 is a different animal completely - it looks like a modern shoe. I'm hoping that the major redesign is an indication that they have taken feedback and improved the shoe. As opposed to just cranking the GTS handle. As always, time will tell.

Old model is the best
Brooks Adrenaline 19 are very comfortable, stable and well cushioned shoes. They provide a wide toe box and good heel support. For brooks running shoes I always get 1/2 - 1 size larger than my normal shoes to have space in front of my toes. First I bought Adrenaline 21, but had to return them as the edge pressed on my ankle bones. Fortunately, the older model has slightly lower or softer edges and fits perfectly. My first run, 12K on uneven, wet ground went great. I did not notice any difference in shoes fit compared to my previous daily runner, Brooks Ghost 12. The main difference is in their performance, the new shoes feel like having springs on my feet. I would recommend to anyone who is like me relatively new to running not to use the shoes long past their recommended total distance. With the new pair I noticed that amortisation on my old Brooks, which served me for 1500km, did not function well anymore.

Most comfortable shoes I have ever had
I have bad pain in my feet on walking and this has got worse over several years despite differing treatments. I have tried numerous pairs of shoes and tried these after seeing reviews of how comfortable they are. I was delighted by my first pair over 6 months ago and they have transformed my ability to walk more than small distances. The pain is much reduced and I am walking 5 or more miles a day. I was so pleased that I have bought 2 more pairs! I cannot recommend these highly enough.

Adrenaline 19 - Worth the upgrade
These running shoes are great. Lightweight and very comfortable. A perfect fit. They provide additional support due to the wider heel and better arch design. They are an upgrade from Brooks Revel 2, which was a good shoe in its own right! Adrenaline 19 is well worth the extra money. On a 10km run, my feet felt right at home.

Such good comfort - recommend!
I get these as I know this model running shoe is light, comfortable and most importantly supports my overpronation and shin splints! These are that comfortable they quickly became my everyday walking shoes. They wear quickly as quite soft. (I think its something like 500 miles) but I'm done way more than that, but the grips are starting to peel and break, but that is kind of expected after running/walking so many more miles than the life expectancy of the shoe

Heavy runner (very)
Iโm pretty new to running, but knew I needed something good - Iโm a heavy runner with history of knee niggles. These are awesome - incredibly light compared to what Iโm used to and seem to provide both comfort and stability. Iโve done 10 x 5k runs in then so far and canโt fault them yet.

great running shoe
Had an ankle issue. My Nike shoes were too old to continue running. THey allowed me to start running again and my ankle problem has stopped.I measured my foot on a piece of paper and used that measurement for ordering the shoe and it fits perfectly!
